My photographs of North East social clubs document spaces suspended in time, where faded interiors and worn fixtures bear witness to shifting communities and dying traditions. These working-class institutions, once vital hubs of solidarity and celebration, now exist in a state of gradual obsolescence, their empty function rooms and outdated décor haunted by the memories of past gatherings. Through this work, I capture the melancholic beauty of these liminal spaces, exploring themes of class, belonging, and the slow erosion of collective memory in post-industrial Britain.
